FCSM β€’ Module 3

Sports Management in Practice

Field Experience & Case Study

Apply classroom concepts in a real sports environment through a guided field experience hosted by a sports club or organization. Participants engage directly with industry representatives, explore the organization's business and management practices, and analyze real-world opportunities, strategies, challenges and successes.

Experience Sports Management in a Real Organization

This module moves learning beyond the classroom by placing participants inside a real sports club or sports organization. The host organization introduces its structure, activities, business operations and strategic priorities, giving learners direct exposure to how sports management functions in practice.

Throughout the visit, the GISM professor connects the organization's real-world experience to the concepts studied during the certificate, facilitates discussion, answers questions and helps participants evaluate management decisions, business opportunities and organizational challenges.
